Welcome to the Gallery Team requirements and design wiki. The purpose of this portion of the DnnGallery site is:
- Provide a common interface for team members to generate, maintain, discuss and finalize the scenarios for each of the releases.
- Provide the high level scenarios that will be supported for each major release as the basis for further development, testing and documentation
- Provide a central location for recording both technical and operational definitions that are specific to the Gallery Module
As such, this wiki is owned by all members of the Gallery Team.
Each team member is encouraged to make a contribution by submitting new topic, making changes to existing text in an effort to improving understanding of the overall operation of the Gallery project.
To use this wiki, sinply Add/Edit a page at the appropriate level chosen from the left menu. Complete instructions are provided at the bottom of the page indicated with the plus-sign ("+") "Wiki Text Directions"
In general you should Enable Page Comments to solicit additiona input from your fellow team members.
We we have agreed upon a Scenario, it will be decomposed into design elements, each of which will be referenced to an entry in the Gemini Issue Manager and associated with the appropriate Gallery Release.
00 Design Basis and Definitions
This section is reserved to describe the basis of the design as well as a location to capture all definitions employed in the design, operation and/or maintenance of this module.
01 Module Architectural Design
This section is reserved for designers and developers to describe the architecture of the mdule implementation. This can include such items as the database schema, business rules and class structures.
02 Administrative Operations
This section is dedicated to the description of scenarios that are available to the module administrator, at times also referred to as the Page Administrator. This section should form the basis for the generation of business rules, as well as the definition of data elements/attributes incorporated into the architecture and implementation.
03 User Operations
This section is dedicated to the description of scenarios that are available to general and priviledged users of the Gallery module.
